The Allen County Department of Health reported Tuesday that two county residents have died from COVID-19 since the Monday update. 109 deaths have now been attributed to the virus since the first such report March 22.

Allen County had 30 more people test positive, bringing the total to 2,679 cases.

The Indiana State Department of Health's latest update showed 16 new deaths and 385 new positive cases as of Monday midnight. Indiana has recorded 2,448 deaths and 45,594 positive cases. 484,196 tests have been conducted, with 9.4% testing positive.

The ISDH said 40.4% of the state's 2,505 intensive care unit beds remain available. 83% of the state's 2,943 ventilators remain available.

Updates to positive cases and deaths in Allen County are found at the top of the Department’s COVID-19 webpage at and will be time-stamped to keep the public informed with the latest local data.

Basic demographic information on Allen County cases is provided on the website and will be updated at least once a week.

Because of delays in private lab reporting to the state, the case count provided by the Indiana State Department of Health at may not always immediately match Allen County’s case numbers.
