Fort Wayne SOUP is hosting a virtual SOUPer Stars event on their Facebook page and YouTube channel for three weeks in November that will pit past winners against each other for the ultimate pitch competition.

Eight past winners will be matched up in a bracket style tournament, facing off for Round 1 beginning Nov. 2. Winners of Round 1 will advance to Round 2, beginning Nov. 9. The two winners from Round 2 will advance to the Championship Round to compete for a chance to win half the proceeds from the event, plus matching sponsorship funds, and the title of THE SOUPer Star. The other half of the proceeds will help Fort Wayne SOUP pursue its 501©(3) status, which will allow the organization to expand its programming and attract additional sponsors.

Tickets for each round of SOUPer Stars are available on the organization’s website: www.fortwaynesoup.org. A purchased ticket provides community members a chance to vote for their favorites to advance them through the tournament.
