Anyone who lives or works in Allen County is invited to join an All In Allen Facebook Live discussion about the future of Allen County.

The Facebook Live is scheduled for 6-7 p.m. Monday, June 15,  on the City of Fort Wayne’s Facebook Page, @CityofFortWayne, and on Allen County’s Facebook page, @AllenCounty. Participants will talk about the work to update the community’s comprehensive plan, called All In Allen. A comprehensive plan is a blueprint to guide land use, housing, transportation, parks and more for Fort Wayne and Allen County.

The Facebook Live will be led by representatives of Houseal Lavigne Associates, the community planning consultants hired to develop All In Allen. Panelists will include members of the All In Allen Advisory Committee: Fort Wayne City Councilwoman Michelle Chambers, Monroeville Town Council President Don Gerardot, and Wayne New Tech teacher Jeffrey Roberts.

The discussion will include information about why a comprehensive plan is important to a community, what topics the plan covers and how area residents can share their ideas for creating a better future for Allen County. The consultants, City and County staff and the panelists will answer questions from viewers and share their ideas for how to develop an effective plan.
