Another 23 Allen County residents have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total to 2,628 cases and 107 deaths Sunday, June 28.

Updates to positive cases and deaths in Allen County are found at the top of the Department’s COVID-19 webpage at www.allencountyhealth.com/covid-19.

Basic demographic information on Allen County cases is provided on the website and will be updated at least once a week.

The Indiana State Department of Health announced Sunday that 362 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and private laboratories. That brings to 44,930 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

Intensive care unit and ventilator capacity remain steady. As of Sunday, nearly 39 percent of ICU beds and nearly 84 percent of ventilators are available.

A total of 2,427 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 3 over the previous day. Another 192 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
